Link your card
BMO payment cards are automatically linked to your Member account as long as you’ve provided BMO with your Member number. If you haven’t, login to your BMO Everyday Banking account and click on Blue Rewards – Get Started. You can link an existing Blue Rewards account to your BMO profile or sign up for a new Blue Rewards account. See FAQs for information on eligible cards.

About Card Offers
- Have an eligible BMO payment card with a member ID on your BMO profile or a linked Mastercard credit card to your Blue Rewards member number.
- Browse available offers from participating brands and be sure to check the offer requirements and eligibility. Some offers are available for all linked cards, some are exclusive to eligible BMO payment cards, and some offers are for eligible BMO Debit Cards only.
- Opt-in to the offer if required,
- Shop an offer and make a qualifying purchase with your linked card - no need to scan your Blue Rewards loyalty card.
- That’s it! Your Points will show up in your account.
To use your BMO Debit Card at an online merchant, your linked debit card must have a visible Mastercard logo. The merchant must also accept Debit Mastercard as a form of payment.
If you haven’t already, link any other non-BMO Canadian-issued Mastercard credit card to your Blue Rewards account.
The following personal cards can link and participate in Blue Rewards card offers:
- All BMO Mastercards, including BMO Blue Rewards Mastercard credit cards
- BMO Debit cards linked to a personal banking chequing account, including BMO Blue Rewards Debit cards
- BMO Visa credit cards
- Non‑BMO Mastercard credit cards
The following cards cannot participate in Blue Rewards card offers:
- Non-BMO Mastercard debit cards
- Non-BMO Visa cards
- BMO U.S. Dollar Mastercard
- BMO Prepaid Mastercards
- BMO Diners Club credit cards
- BMO Credit Line for Business Mastercard
- BMO Commercial cards
- Other payment cards issued by third-party providers
No, you don’t need to show your Blue Rewards loyalty card to take advantage of Card Offers. Just use your linked payment card and make a qualifying purchase at participating brands. Be sure to check the unique offer terms for details.
If there’s another non-Card Offer available, you can scan your Blue Rewards loyalty card to earn those Points too.
To use your eligible BMO Debit Card at an online merchant, your linked debit card must have a visible Mastercard logo.
No coupons necessary! Some Card Offers may require you to opt-in before using the offer.
To use Card Offers, you don’t need to scan your Blue Rewards loyalty card at the time of purchase. Once your eligible BMO payment card or non-BMO Mastercard credit card is linked, you can earn Points at participating brands when you pay with the linked card type specified in the offer terms. Note that some offers require you to opt-in before using. Check what offers are available to you.
You can view linked cards in the Blue Rewards app by selecting Linked Cards under the Account tab. On the web, go to Your Profile and choose Linked Cards. From there, you can view the last 4 digits of linked cards. Updates to linked cards will take 2-3 business days to appear.

Eligible BMO® Cards
Prior to Blue Rewards, if you provided BMO with an AIR MILES collector number, then your eligible BMO cards should be autolinked to your Blue Rewards Member Number. You will be able to view your eligible BMO linked card(s) on your Blue Rewards Account Profile
If you have never added your Member number to your BMO profile, if the Member number on file is incorrect, or if you wish to update your Member Number, login to BMO Everyday Banking and click on Blue Rewards – Get Started. You can link an existing Blue Rewards Member number or sign-up for Blue Rewards. Once you’ve completed sign-up, all your eligible BMO payment cards will be autolinked for card offers. You will be able to view your eligible BMO linked card(s) on your Blue Rewards Account Profile in 2-3 business days.
Don’t forget, if you have a BMO Blue Rewards Mastercard credit card or BMO Blue Rewards Debit Chequing account you’re already linked.
If you noticed that your Blue Rewards Member Number is incorrect or if you wish to change your Member Number, login to BMO Everyday Banking and click on Blue Rewards – View Your Rewards. Click on the 3 dots next to the Member Number on the Blue Rewards Card to edit or unlink. You will be able to view your eligible BMO linked card(s) on your Blue Rewards Account Profile in 2-3 business days
Yes! You can link multiple qualifying non-BMO Mastercard credit cards to your Blue Rewards account. To link additional cards, go to bluerewardscardlink.ca.
You will be able to view your eligible BMO linked card(s) on your Blue Rewards Account Profile.
If you have never added your Member number to your BMO profile, if it is incorrect, or if you wish to update your Member Number, login to BMO Everyday Banking and click on Blue Rewards – View Your Rewards. Click on the 3 dots next to the Member Number on the Blue Rewards Card to edit or unlink. You will be able to view your eligible BMO linked card(s) on your Blue Rewards Account Profile in 2-3 business days.
Don’t forget, if you have a BMO Blue Rewards Mastercard credit card or BMO Blue Rewards Debit Chequing account you’re already linked.
If your eligible BMO card was already linked to your Blue Rewards account, no action is required. Your replacement BMO card will be automatically linked to your Blue Rewards Number.
To unlink your eligible BMO cards from your Blue Rewards Number you can opt-out logging into BMO Everyday Banking and click on Blue Rewards – View Your Rewards. Click on the 3 dots next to the Member Number on the Blue Rewards Card to edit or unlink.
If you are a BMO Blue Rewards product holder, you can switch to a BMO non-Blue Rewards product by calling BMO or speaking to a representative at your local BMO branch.
Any other Mastercard can be unlinked at any time - if you’ve linked multiple Mastercard credit cards, be sure to unlink individually.
The ability to earn Bonus Points from partners through Card Offers is a credit and debit card product benefit and is tied to the terms and conditions of the BMO Blue Rewards Mastercard credit card and BMO Blue Rewards Debit Chequing Account. You can switch to a BMO non-Blue Rewards product by calling BMO or speaking to a representative at your local BMO branch.
Other Mastercard credit cards
When you link your non-BMO Mastercard credit card to your Blue Rewards account, you should receive a confirmation message on the website. If there was an error linking your cards, you’ll receive an error message asking you to resolve any issues. You will be able to view your linked card on your Blue Rewards Account Profile in 2-3 business days.
Don’t forget, if you have a BMO Blue Rewards Mastercard credit card or BMO Blue Rewards Debit Chequing card, you’re already linked.
If your non-BMO Mastercard number is the same on your replacement Mastercard credit card, no action is required. But if you receive a new card with a new number, you’ll have to link the new card.
Any other Canadian issued Mastercard can be unlinked here at any time - if you’ve linked multiple Mastercard credit cards, be sure to unlink individually.
