Blue Rewards is a loyalty program designed to provide real, everyday value to Canadians. Launching in summer 2026, Blue Rewards will offer enriched benefits, expanded partnerships, and a new streamlined digital experience empowering millions of collectors to earn more, redeem faster, and make real financial progress.

If you’re already an active AIR MILES Rewards Program collector, your account will automatically change to Blue Rewards in summer 2026. You can join the AIR MILES Rewards Program today and you’ll automatically become a Blue Rewards member when it launches in summer 2026.

Your AIR MILES balance is safe. You can keep earning and redeeming with your AIR MILES card without interruption. Once Blue Rewards launches, your Miles will automatically convert to Points, with no loss in value. 

New Partners: New strategic partners including Porter Airlines, Accor Group, hotel brands such as Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, Novotel, and SLS Hotels, Instacart and MTY Group restaurants including Thai Express, Bâton Rouge, Pizza Delight, Allô! mon Coco, Sushi Shop, Mr. Sub, Manchu Wok, Mucho Burrito, Jugo Juice and more will add greater everyday value for collectors. Continued Value: In addition to our new partners, you will continue to earn at many of the existing brands and partners you’ve come to know and love. 

Simplified Travel Platform: To give members more choice and flexibility, Blue Rewards is expanding its travel offering through Expedia Group. This means access to more flights, hotels, and car rentals—all powered by Expedia’s trusted technology and extensive inventory—making it easier than ever to plan and book your next trip.

Your AIR MILES Reward Miles will be converted to Blue Points, with no loss of value.

You do not need to be a BMO customer to be a Blue Rewards Member, though BMO customers benefit from accelerated earn opportunities with a BMO Blue Rewards credit card, Blue Rewards Chequing Account or other eligible BMO chequing accounts.

With the transition to Blue Rewards, current collector numbers will not change. AIR MILES collector cards, both digital and physical, will continue to be active.

No — you can continue to sign in with the same email and password you already use.

Dormant accounts can be reactivated simply by earning at least one Mile.

You can always access your digital card through the Blue Rewards app, starting summer 2026.

New physical Blue Rewards cards will not automatically be issued for existing AIR MILES collectors. If you wish to receive a physical Blue Rewards card to replace your existing AIR MILES card, on the web, navigate to help > self-serve tool > order card.

If you’ve downloaded the AIR MILES app already, it will automatically update to become the Blue Rewards app, with no action required on your part. You'll know the update has taken place when you see the new Blue Rewards logo on the app icon. If you still see the AIR MILES logo, simply download the latest app update.

You can continue to use your current BMO AIR MILES credit card normally. Your physical credit card and credit card number will not change.

To check the status of your linked card, go to the “account” tab in your AIR MILES app, select “Linked cards” and review your linked cards.

If you already have a Canadian-issued Mastercard linked to your AIR MILES account, your card will remain linked. Similarly, all AIR MILES BMO Mastercards will remain auto linked. 

If you have a third-party Canadian-issued Mastercard you would like to link now, you can do-so in the app.

If you have a non-AIR MILES BMO Mastercard and wish to link to your account, simply call or visit a BMO branch to do so.
