As a BMO AIR MILES credit card cardholder, you are eligible to get the BMO & Shell Go+ Double the Miles offer until December 31, 2024. This means getting double the Shell Go+ 2x the Miles benefit received for being a Shell Go+ member on eligible Fuel and in-store purchases at Shell when you pay with an eligible BMO AIR MILES credit card, and use your AIR MILES card, during the promotional period. You will need to opt in to this offer and be a Shell Go+ member before making eligible purchases. To become a Shell Go+ member, simply download the Shell App and link your AIR MILES® collector number under ‘Programs & Memberships’ to join. Terms apply.

If you have an eligible BMO AIR MILES credit card, you just need to make sure you:
- Opt in to the offer.
- Be a Shell Go+ member. To become a Shell Go+ member, just download the Shell App and link your AIR MILES collector number under ‘Programs & Memberships’.
- Then, make an eligible purchase at Shell.
- Scan or swipe your AIR MILES card when you make your purchase.
- Pay for your Shell purchase using an eligible BMO AIR MILES credit card.
Remember, when making your purchases, the AIR MILES card linked in the Shell App needs to be the one that’s linked to the BMO AIR MILES credit card you use, in order to qualify for this offer.
No, however, you’ll be able to see the Miles you got in the Transactions tab of your AIR MILES account, found on airmiles.ca.
The Reward Miles from Shell’s base offer will appear in your AIR MILES account within 2 weeks of your purchase at Shell.
The Miles earned in connection with your BMO AIR MILES credit card will be calculated for purchases charged to your account (less refunds and excluding cash advances, cash-like transactions, interest charges, fees, credit or debit adjustments) and awarded once per statement period and are not awarded if your account is closed or not in good standing. The number of Miles will be rounded down to the nearest whole number. Fractions of Miles will not be awarded.
There’s no maximum on the number of Miles earned with fuel purchases. For eligible in-store purchases, you can get up to a maximum of 2,500 miles from the “BMO & Shell Go+ Double the Miles Offer” by December 31, 2024, per cardholder.
The BMO AIR MILES Small Business credit cards do have a monthly cap on the number of Miles you can earn. If you have those cards, you can learn more about the cap in the provided terms and conditions. The Miles you earn from the “BMO & Shell Go+ Double the Miles offer” will also apply to that monthly cap.

1. Eligible BMO AIR MILES Mastercard cardholders (“BMO AIR MILES Credit Card”) who are Shell Go+ members and have linked their AIR MILES collector number will need to opt-in and pay using their BMO credit card, at participating Shell locations, to get double the AIR MILES Reward Miles on eligible purchases between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024 (“2024 Offer Period”). Only transactions made after the BMO AIR MILES Cardmember has opted into the offer will qualify for the BMO & Shell Go+ Double the Miles offer.
To become a member of Shell Go+, download the Shell App and link your AIR MILES collector number in the Shell app, under ‘Programs & Memberships’.
Offer valid for Shell Go+ members’ transactions made from January 1, 2024 through to December 31, 2024 (“2024 Offer Period”), when they use an eligible and valid BMO AIR MILES Mastercard to make an eligible purchase at participating Shell locations (excluding Shell Flying J locations). Eligible AIR MILES collector number must be linked within the Shell App prior to eligible transaction. The AIR MILES collector number linked in the Shell App and the AIR MILES collector number associated with the BMO AIR MILES Credit Card must be the same collector number to qualify.
This BMO & Shell Go+ Double the Miles offer applies to the total Reward Miles earned in a single transaction during the Offer Period in connection with the Shell Go+ member benefits, as follows (“Eligible Purchases”):
- 2x the Miles for every 10 L of Shell V-Power® Fuels (example: 1 Reward Mile from the base offer and 1 Reward Mile from the Shell Go+ membership offer) or
- 2x the Miles for every 20 L of Shell Bronze/Regular, Shell Silver/Plus or Shell Diesel Fuel (example: 1 Reward Mile from the base offer and 1 Reward Mile from the Shell Go+ membership offer) or
- 2x the Miles for every $5 of eligible non-Fuel products purchased in a single transaction before taxes and excludes tobacco products, all lottery tickets, all gift cards, prepaid credit cards, phone cards, and any other goods or services specified from time to time or as excluded by law (example: 1 Reward Mile from the base offer and 1 Reward Mile from the Shell Go+ membership offer)
As an illustrative example of how you’ll earn Miles with the BMO & Shell Go+ Double the Miles Offer : During the Offer Period, if a Shell Go+ member purchases 40 L of Shell Bronze Fuel and pays using any eligible BMO AIR MILES Mastercard, the customer will get 8 Reward Miles in total, calculated as follows:
- 2 Reward Miles from the Shell base fuel offer earn rate of 1 Mile per 20 L of Bronze Fuel, awarded by Shell
- 2 Reward Miles from the Shell Go+ 2x the Miles benefit, awarded by Shell
- 4 Reward Miles from the ‘BMO & Shell Go+ Double the Miles offer’, awarded by BMO
A maximum of 2,500 Miles may be awarded per cardholder during the Offer Period for Eligible Purchases of Convenience Store Transactions. AIR MILES Reward Miles earned in connection with this offer will appear in your AIR MILES collector account awarded by BMO as ‘Shell Go+ Double the Miles.’
