The Contest is open only to Canadian resident AIR MILES^® collectors who are 18 years of age or older. See Rule 2 below.

1. Contest Sponsor: AIR MILES Loyalty Inc., doing business as AIR MILES, or the AIR MILES Reward Program (the “Contest Sponsor”), 100 King Street West, 21st Floor, Toronto ON, M5X 1A1The following entity is the prize provider of the Contest: The Walt Disney Company (Canada) Ltd. (the “Prize Provider”). For the avoidance of doubt, the Prize Provider is neither a sponsor nor co-sponsor of the Contest.

2. Eligibility: The Contest is open only to Canadian resident AIR MILES^® collectors (“collectors”) who are 18 years of age or older, except employees, representatives and agents of the Contest Sponsor, the Prize Provider, and their respective affiliates and advertising and marketing agencies, Contest administrators, judges and persons domiciled with any of the above. The collector is the individual in whose name the collector number has been established or, in the case of a business collector, the principal associated with the business collector number, as determined by the Contest Sponsor, and this is the person to whom the prize will be awarded if they are selected and declared a winner. Canadian residence will be determined by the mailing address associated with the collector number. If you are not already an AIR MILES collector, you may become one by enrolling online at airmiles.ca. By enrolling to become an AIR MILES collector, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the AIR MILES Reward Program as amended from time to time.

Online access and an email account are required to participate in this Contest. Many public libraries, retail businesses and others offer free access to computers and a number of Internet service providers and other companies offer free email accounts.

3. Agreement to Official Contest Rules: By participating in the Contest, you fully and unconditionally agree to and accept the Official Contest Rules and the decisions of the Contest Sponsor and its Contest administrators and judges, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest.

4. Contest Period: The Contest begins at 12:01 a.m. on December 9, 2024 and ends 11:59 p.m. on December 26, 2024 (the “Contest Period”). All times refer to Eastern Time (“ET”) throughout these Official Contest Rules.

5. How to Enter the Contest: There are two (2) ways to enter the Contest, as described here. To enter the Contest:

during the Contest Period with the subject line “AIR MILES Magical Moments Contest – Bonus Entries Submission” containing your name, collector number, email address, phone number, and a minimum 50-word essay describing your favourite thing about being an AIR MILES collector. Maximum one email per collector number during the Contest Period (for a total of 5 bonus entries). This alternative bonus entry method cannot be combined with the AIR MILES Travel / AIR MILES Merchandise bonus entry method described above.  

6.  Odds of Winning: The odds of winning will depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.

7.  Prize: There is one (1) prize (the “Prize” or “Vacation Package”) available to be won consisting of the following elements to be used by the winner (the “Winner”) and up to three (3) guests of the Winner’s choosing (each a “Guest”; collectively “Guests”; and, together with the Winner, the “Group”):

• Up to four (4) round-trip coach airfares between the major gateway airport closest to the Winner’s residence in Canada (the “Departure Airport”) and a Southern California airport (the “Arrival Airport”) (with possible layovers) on a Disney-selected carrier; ​
• Up to four (4) round trip local ground transfers between the Arrival Airport and the Disneyland Resort (ground transfers to be selected by Disney in its discretion); ​
• Room accommodations consisting of one (1) standard room (with a maximum of four (4) persons per room) for four (4) consecutive nights at a Disneyland Resort or a Disneyland Resort area hotel selected by Disney in its sole discretion (parking at the Disneyland Resort or Disneyland Resort area hotel is not included), based on availability;​
• Up to four (4) 5-Day Disneyland Resort Park Hopper Tickets (subject to restrictions); and​
• One (1) Disney Gift Card in the amount of six hundred U.S. dollars (USD$600) for the Winner, subject to restrictions. ​

The estimated retail value of the Vacation Package is $7,800.88 USD, or approximately $10,141.00 CAD. The actual value of the Vacation Package may vary depending on point of departure, seasonal fluctuations of hotel rates and airfares, and fluctuations in the currency exchange rates for U.S. Dollars. Any difference between the estimated retail value and the actual cost of the Vacation Package will not be awarded.

The Prize is subject to certain restrictions:

• A Guest under the age of majority must be accompanied by his/her/their parent/legal guardian who must be at least the legal age of majority in their province or territory of residence and both will be deemed Guests of the Winner (unless the Winner is the Guest’s parent or legal guardian). Once selected by the Winner, Guests cannot be changed without the express consent of the Prize Provider, which may be withheld for any reason.
• The Winner and his/her/their Guests must arrive between March 1, 2025 and September 1, 2025. Travel must be completed by September 6, 2025. The requested arrival date is subject to Prize Provider’s approval in Prize Provider’s sole and absolute discretion, and is subject to availability.
• The Winner and his/her/their Guests must travel on the same itinerary in both directions, and air transportation must be round-trip from/to the same Departure Airport/Arrival Airport, as selected by Prize Provider. The Winner and his/her/their Guests are responsible for all other expenses not stated as included herein. Changes to flights or passenger names are not accepted, once the booking has been confirmed without the express consent of Prize Provider, which may be withheld for any reason. Laws, regulations, international conventions and conditions of carriage govern the Prize. Other restrictions may apply.
• Prize fulfillment and travel are subject to certain restrictions, air travel/flight availability, and certain hotel/room availability at the Disneyland Resort in California. The Prize must be booked through a travel agent as designated by Prize Provider at least forty-five (45) days prior to arrival. Block-out dates apply. No extensions will be granted. Certain travel and lodging restrictions apply including airline carrier’s regulations and conditions. Airline tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable, and are not valid for upgrades.
• Both a theme park ticket and separate theme park reservation for the same park on the same date are required for park entry for the winner and each guest. Theme park reservations and tickets will be required for each day of the visit and must be obtained before visiting. Winner will be responsible for making theme park reservations on behalf themselves and their guest(s). Park reservations are limited and subject to availability. Park reservations do not guarantee park admission or access to any experience, attraction, or offering. Winner and guests should visit Disneyland.com/updates for important details to know before traveling to the Disneyland Resort.
• There may be specific state or government health agency instructions, guidelines and requirements for all visitors to the Disneyland Resort.  The winner and their guests are solely responsible, at their own cost, for staying updated on and complying with any of the latest restrictions and requirements that may be in place for travel to and visiting the Disneyland Resort leading up to the planned stay.  Such restrictions and requirements are subject to change.
• Photo identification and credit card in good standing or cash deposit may be required at check-in at the hotel for incidental charges (e.g., room service, use of telephone/IT services, laundry and all other optional extra services not provided in the Vacation Package).
• The Winner and his/her/their Guests are responsible for all expenses other than those included in the Prize. Any costs or expenses, which may include transportation between Winner’s residence and the Departure Airport, baggage fees, insurance (health, travel and medical), parking fees, hotel room service, laundry service, spa treatments, nursery charges, food or beverages, alcoholic beverages, merchandise, souvenirs, incidental expenses, local and long distance telephone calls, tips, gratuities, service charges, any taxes, and all other personal expenses of any kind not specifically identified in these Official Contest Rules as part of the Prize are the responsibility of the Winner and his/her/their Guests. The Contest Sponsor and/or Prize Provider are not responsible for any delay, postponement, suspension, rescheduling or cancellation, for any reason, of any element of the Prize and the Winner and his/her/their Guests will not be compensated in the event of such delay, cancellation or other event described herein. Laws, regulations, international conventions, flight tariffs and conditions of carriage govern flight elements of the Prize. Other restrictions may apply.
• The Prize must be taken as offered and is neither transferable nor redeemable for cash, credit or alternative prizes, except in Contest Sponsor’s sole discretion. The Prize cannot be sold and in the event that it is sold, the Prize will be void. Contest Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the Prize with a prize of equal or greater value. The Prize has no cash value and no credit or reimbursement will be provided if the Prize is not taken. The Prize and Prize components cannot be combined with any other promotional offer or offers provided by the Contest Sponsor and/or Prize Provider, sold, traded, transferred, refunded, commissioned, redeemed for cash or rescheduled to dates other than as set forth above, except in Prize Provider’s sole and absolute discretion.
• Theme parks, attractions and other offerings are subject to availability, closures, change or cancellation without notice or liability. Park admission, offerings and ticket options are not guaranteed. Prize Provider reserves the right to cancel any offering.
• The Winner may not charge any Guest for participating in the Prize. The Prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, expressed or implied, being provided by Contest Sponsor or Prize Provider.
• All elements of the Prize (including, without limitation, the theme park tickets) must be used by the Group on the same dates during the redemption of the Prize. The Winner will not receive compensation for any element(s) of the Prize (including, without limitation, theme park tickets) that the Winner does not accept or that any participant(s) is unable to use for any reason, and such unused portion(s) of the Prize will be forfeited.
• If the Winner chooses to bring fewer than the allotted number of Guests, the Prize will be awarded in increments suitable for the actual number of participants with no substitute prize or compensation provided to the Winner.
• The Winner and his/her/their Guests must have the legal right to enter and leave the destination to which they are bound. They are fully responsible for obtaining, at their own expense, all documentation necessary for the trip as required by the authorities concerned, including, but not limited to, visas, passports, vaccinations and certificates. These documents shall be obtained before departure.
• All travel documentation that may be required (visa, passports, etc.) are the Winner’s and his/her/their Guests’ responsibility and must be obtained prior to departure. Passports for all travellers must be valid for a minimum of 6 months from the date of departure.
• It is strongly recommended that the Winner and his/her/their Guests purchase travel and/or medical insurance at time of reservation as a measure of added protection. Travel insurance may (but is not required) to be purchased through AIR MILES Travel Insurance at https://www.airmiles.ca/en/travel/travel-insurance.html 
  
• None of the Contest Sponsor, Prize Provider or their respective affiliates shall assume any responsibility of any nature whatsoever for any delay, postponement, suspension, rescheduling or cancellation of the Prize or any portion of the Prize, for any reasons whatsoever, including, but not limited to, weather conditions, equipment breakdown or failure, of any flight(s) event(s), exhibit(s), attraction(s) or accommodation(s) being arranged in conjunction with the Prize, and the Winner and his/her/their Guests are not entitled to be compensated in the event of such delay, cancellation or other event described herein.
• The Winner and his/her/their Guests must be able to attend on dates indicated above to be eligible. No compensation will be provided for failure by the Winner to claim or use any portion of the Prize within any expiry periods applicable thereto, nor if the Winner fails to accept the Prize as awarded. In case of cancellation for any given reason, the Prize will be forfeited. Other restrictions may apply.
• The Winner and his/her/their Guests will be required to execute a liability/publicity release and waiver form prior to booking of any travel. Failure to return the executed release form within the specified time period will result in forfeiture of the Prize. Winner acknowledges that he/she/they are solely responsible for any actions, claims or liabilities of the Group related to any use or misuse of the Prize or any Prize-related activity or travel.
• Any damaged, lost or stolen airline tickets, theme park tickets, gift cards or travel vouchers will not be replaced and neither the Contest Sponsor nor the Prize Provider shall be liable for such damaged, lost or stolen items. Gift cards are not redeemable or exchangeable for cash (except as required by law) and are subject to all terms and conditions of use as established by issuer.
• There may be specific state or government health agency instructions, guidelines and requirements for all visitors to the Disneyland Resort. The Winner and his/her/their guests are solely responsible, at their own cost, for staying updated on and complying with any of the latest restrictions and requirements that may be in place for travel to and visiting the Disneyland Resort leading up to the planned stay. Such restrictions and requirements are subject to change.
• Each of Contest Sponsor, Prize Provider, their parent, related, affiliated and subsidiary entities and their respective officers, directors, agents, employees and assigns will be released and discharged from any and all legal claims, losses, injuries, demands, damages, actions, and/or causes of actions that arise out of and/or are in any way related to the Prize, the receipt, use and/or enjoyment of the Prize, or Prize-related activity including travel or the Contest. Upon being selected as a potential winner of the Prize, the selected entrant shall sign and return to the Contest Sponsor a Prize Acknowledgement and Release Form, as described further below in Rule 8.
• All disputes arising out of or connected solely with the Prize provided by Prize Provider shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of California, and in the event of any dispute, Winner and his/her/their Guest(s) irrevocably consent to the jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Orange County, California to resolve such disputes.  Such claims shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and all such claims shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event to include attorneys’ fees.
• In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Contest promotional materials and the terms and conditions of these Official Contest Rules, these Official Contest Rules shall prevail and govern.

8. Winner Selection: A random drawing for the Prize will be held at 2:00 p.m. on January 14 2025 , in Oakville, Ontario from among all eligible entries received during the Contest Period, by a judging organization whose decisions will be final and binding. In order to be declared a winner, selected entrant must be a Canadian resident AIR MILES® collector of 18 years of age or older and must first correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question to be administered at a prearranged time by the Contest Sponsor and otherwise comply with these Official Contest Rules. The Contest Sponsor or its representatives will make reasonable attempts to contact the selected entrant at the email address and/or telephone number(s) recorded in respect of his/her/their collector number and/or indicated on the email entry, as the case may be. If a selected entrant cannot be contacted or has not responded within two (2) days of the date when contact was first attempted, is not eligible in accordance with these Official Contest Rules, does not correctly answer the mathematical skill-testing question or otherwise comply with these Official Contest Rules, then the selected entrant is disqualified and will not receive the Prize and another entrant may be selected. A selected entrant must sign and return to the Contest Sponsor within two (2) days of receipt a Prize Acknowledgement and Release Form in form satisfactory to Contest Sponsor, which includes a standard declaration of compliance with the Official Contest Rules and release form in form satisfactory to Contest Sponsor in order to be awarded the Prize. Failure to sign and return the Prize Acknowledgement and Release Form within two (2) days of receipt will result in forfeiture of the Prize. The Guests of the Prize Winner must also sign a release to participate in the Prize.

9. General:

The Contest Sponsor and Prize Provider each reserve the right to use the Winner’s name, city of residence, comments, likeness, photograph, voice and statements without further compensation, in connection with any advertising and publicity carried out by or on behalf of the Contest Sponsor and/or Prize Provider, as applicable, in relation to the Contest, the Prize, the AIR MILES Reward Program, or the Disneyland Resort in any media throughout the world in perpetuity. The first name or initials and city name of Winner may also be posted on airmiles.ca.

The Contest Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute the Prize with one of equal or greater value, to cancel, terminate, amend and/or suspend the Contest without prior notice at any time and for any reason including without limitation, if viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention, attempts to disrupt the Contest or other causes beyond the Contest Sponsor’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper play or conduct of the Contest. In no event will the Contest Sponsor be liable for more prizes (in quantity or amount) than that specified in the Official Contest Rules.

The Contest Sponsor is not responsible for any technical, hardware, software or telephone failures of any kind, or lost or unavailable network connections or garbled or deleted computer network transmissions, or failed, incomplete, garbled, misdirected or lost entries or inaccurate capture of entry or use of Miles information, even if it limits the ability to participate in the Contest. Any entry that occurs after a system failure is deemed a defective entry and is void and will not be honoured. The Contest Sponsor and Prize Provider are not responsible for any injury or damage to persons (including the Winner and his/her/their Guests) or property arising from the Contest or Prize, or which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from accessing or transmitting any material from the Website regardless of whether the material was prepared by the Contest Sponsor or a third party or is connected to the Website by hyperlink. All entries must be received during the Contest Period. All entries and prize claims are subject to verification by Contest Sponsor and will be void if not obtained through legitimate channels, or if not original, or if obtained other than in compliance with these Official Contest Rules. The Contest Sponsor will not accept screen shots or other evidence of winning or entry in lieu of its verification process. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt. All entries become the property of the Contest Sponsor and will not be returned.

Online and email entries must be made only by the original, manual keystrokes of the individual entrant. Use of any automated system including robotic or form-filling software to enter or participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification of all entries by anyone using such assistance. 

The Contest Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of these Official Contest Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, the Contest Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. The Contest Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Contest Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

By entering this Contest, each entrant expressly consents to the Contest Sponsor, its agents and/or representatives storing, sharing and using the personal information submitted with his/her/their entry only for the purpose of administering the Contest and in accordance with these Official Contest Rules and the Contest Sponsor’s privacy policy (available at https://www.airmiles.ca/arrow/PrivacyPolicy). This section does not limit any other consent(s) that an individual may provide the Contest Sponsor or others in relation to the collection, use and/or disclosure of their personal information.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, by entering the Contest, the entrant selected as the Winner of the Prize is deemed to have expressly consented to the disclosure of their personal information to Prize Provider for the purpose of Prize Provider administering and coordinating distribution of the Prize in accordance with The Walt Disney Company’s Privacy Policy available at https://privacy.thewaltdisneycompany.com/en/.

The Contest is subject to all applicable laws.

The name of the Winner may be obtained by sending a request with a self-addressed postage stamped envelope to “Dept. 100, AIR MILES® Magical Moments Contest, Winner List Request, Box 9500 Lakeshore West PO, Oakville, ON L6K 0G4”, until March 31, 2025. The first name or initials and City name of the Winner may also be posted on www.airmiles.ca.
