- Prize: There is one (1) prize (the “Prize” or “Vacation Package”) available to be won consisting of the following elements to be used by the winner (the “Winner”) and up to three (3) guests (each a “Guest”; collectively “Guests”; and, together with the Winner, the “Group”) of the Winner’s choosing:
Up to four (4) round-trip economy class Air Canada flights between the major gateway airport closest to the winner’s residence in Canada (the “Departure Airport”) and the Orlando International Airport (the “Arrival Airport”) in Orlando, FL (with possible layovers);
A round-trip non-exclusive ground transportation transfer for service for up to four (4) passengers between the Arrival Airport and Universal Orlando Resort (ground transfers to be selected by Universal in its discretion);

The estimated retail value of the Prize is 5,890.07 CAD. The value includes the round-trip airfare provided by Air Canada and is redeemed through an Air Canada promotional code. The promotional code has no cash value. The approximate value of the round-trip airfare is $550 per person, which is based on an average of round-trip flight tickets from Toronto to Orlando. Actual value of the round-trip airfare may vary based on a number of factors, including geography, time of year, and industry trends (the value of which may vary depending on the booked itinerary). The actual value of the Prize may vary depending on seasonal fluctuations of hotel rates and fluctuations in the currency exchange rates for U.S. Dollars. Any difference between the approximate retail value and the actual cost of the Prize will not be awarded.
The Prize is subject to certain restrictions:
A Guest under the age of majority must be accompanied by his/her/their parent/legal guardian who must be at least the age of majority and both will be deemed Guests of the Winner (unless the Winner is the Guest’s parent or legal guardian). Once selected by the Winner, Guests cannot be changed without the express consent of the Prize Provider, which may be withheld for any reason.
The Winner and his/her/their Guests must complete the trip by September 22, 2025 or the Prize will be forfeited without further or alternative compensation. The requested arrival date is subject to Prize Provider’s approval in Prize Provider’s sole and absolute discretion and is subject to availability. Travel dates and arrangements are subject to, holiday, blackout dates, and other prize and travel restrictions. Travel dates are subject to Universal Orlando and Sponsor approval. Reservations are subject to availability. Trip must be booked at least sixty (60) days prior to intended departure date, and no later than the flight booking deadline listed below.
Flights must be booked directly with Air Canada on www.aircanada.com. A promo code which will be provided to the confirmed Winner must be entered first before beginning the flight search. The following additional terms and conditions apply to the flight component of the Prize:
The flight voucher to be provided to the Winner is for round-trip economy class Air Canada flights for the Winner and his/her/their Guests, valid for travel on Air Canada, Air Canada Express and Air Canada Rouge scheduled flights only. Space is subject to availability in the applicable booking class at the time of reservation. Travel for the flight must be booked by November 14, 2025. Promotional Ticket bearers are encouraged to complete their booking as early as possible to allow for maximum availabilities.
Travel is not permitted during the standard blackout periods, which are subject to change without notice. Please refer to the blackout dates below for more details.
All applicable fees, such as airport/departure taxes, security charges or other third party fees, taxes or charges are included.
Once your ticket has been issued, the Departure Airport and Arrival Airport cannot be changed. However, a change to the flight time, and/or travel date is permitted prior departure date. Please go to aircanada.com, select “My Bookings/Flights” and make your change. Please note that should you decide to change your booking, a change fee per ticket may apply.
Should you decide to cancel your booking for whatever reason, Air Canada cannot issue a replacement promotional code.
Extensions for the above-mentioned travel booking deadline and travel completion deadline are not permitted under any circumstances.
Travel does not qualify for Aeroplan points accumulation or for mileage/points accumulation in any other frequent flyer program.
Stopovers or multi-city itineraries are not permitted.
The use of eUpgrade credits is not permitted. Upgrading to Business Class or Premium Economy is not permitted unless you opt to purchase a last-minute upgrade at your own expense through the Last Minute Upgrade Purchase as further described at https://www.aircanada.com/ca/en/aco/home/book/upgrades/last-minute-upgrade-purchase.html#/.
Your ticket is not transferable, not upgradeable, not refundable, and not redeemable for cash nor valid on Air Canada Vacations packages.

Entry into the Maple Leaf Lounge is not permitted unless flying Business Class and will be subject to availability.
Entry into the Signature Suite is not permitted.
Promotional pass recipients may be held liable to Air Canada for failure to adhere to the restrictions and conditions of travel applicable to their tickets or for the fraudulent use of those tickets.
The Air Canada promotional code may not be distributed or sold, or otherwise used for commercial or personal gain, other than for the purpose for which it is intended. Air Canada reserves the right to modify or cancel this promotional code at our discretion. Any violation of these conditions may be subject to cancellation of the promotional code, of any booking made using this promotional code, and/or to any legal or other recourse available for the recovery of damages suffered or costs, expenses or loss incurred as a result of such prohibited use.
If Winner elects to partake in any or all portions of his/her/their Prize with fewer than the allotted number of Guests or no Guests, the Prize will be awarded to Winner and each participating Guest and any remainder of the Prize will be forfeited and shall not be subject to further or alternative compensation.
All elements of the Prize must be redeemed at the same time, and no changes will be permitted after confirmation of any redemption. If Winner is between the ages of eighteen (18) and twenty-one (21), he/she/they must be accompanied by an adult of at least twenty-one (21) years of age in order to check into the hotel. Unless child or ward of Winner or one of the allotted Guests, each Guest must be eighteen (18) years of age or older as of the date of departure.
Each Guest must travel on the same itinerary (in both directions) and at the same time as the Winner.
Photo identification and credit card in good standing or cash deposit may be required at check-in at the Universal Orlando Resort hotel for incidental charges (e.g., room service, use of telephone/IT services, laundry and all other optional extra services not provided in the Vacation Package).
The Winner and his/her/their Guests are responsible for all expenses other than those included in the Prize. Any costs or expenses, which may include transportation between Winner’s and Guests’ residences and the Departure Airport, baggage fees, insurance (health, travel and medical), parking fees, hotel room service, laundry service, spa treatments, nursery charges, food or beverages, alcoholic beverages, merchandise, souvenirs, incidental expenses, local and long distance telephone calls, tips, gratuities, service charges, any taxes, and all other personal expenses of any kind not specifically identified in these Official Contest Rules as part of the Prize are the responsibility of the Winner and his/her/their Guests.
The Contest Sponsor and/or Prize Provider are not responsible for any delay, postponement, suspension, rescheduling or cancellation, for any reason, of any element of the Prize and the Winner and his/her/their Guests will not be compensated in the event of such delay, cancellation or other event described herein. Laws, regulations, international conventions, flight tariffs and conditions of carriage govern flight elements of the Prize. Other restrictions may apply.
Actual retail value (ARV) of Prize may vary depending upon the points of departure, ground transportation, and/or airline fare fluctuations; any difference between stated ARV and final ARV of Prize will not be awarded. Prize consists only of the elements expressly set forth above; no other elements or expenses (including, without limitation, insurance, meals, unspecified ground transportation, phone calls, baggage, gratuities, incidentals, souvenirs, gasoline, etc.) are included in the Prize and all such expenses are the sole responsibility of Winner.
The Prize must be taken as offered and is neither transferable nor redeemable for cash, credit or alternative prizes, except in Contest Sponsor’s sole discretion. The Prize cannot be sold and in the event that it is sold, the Prize will be void. Contest Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the Prize with a prize of equal or greater value. The Prize has no cash value and no credit or reimbursement will be provided if the Prize is not taken. The Prize and Prize components cannot be combined with any other promotional offer or offers provided by the Contest Sponsor and/or Prize Provider, sold, traded, transferred, refunded, commissioned, redeemed for cash or rescheduled to dates other than as set forth above, except in Prize Provider’s sole and absolute discretion.
Theme parks, attractions and other offerings are subject to availability, closures, change or cancellation without notice or liability. Park admission, offerings and ticket options are not guaranteed. Prize Provider reserves the right to cancel any offering.
The Winner may not charge any Guest for participating in the Prize. The Prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, expressed or implied, being provided by Contest Sponsor or Prize Provider.
All elements of the Prize (including, without limitation, the theme park tickets) must be used by the Group on the same dates during the redemption of the Prize. The Winner will not receive compensation for any element(s) of the Prize (including, without limitation, theme park tickets) that the Winner does not accept or that any participant(s) is unable to use for any reason, and such unused portion(s) of the Prize will be forfeited.
If the Winner chooses to bring fewer than the allotted number of Guests, the Prize will be awarded in increments suitable for the actual number of participants with no substitute prize or compensation provided to the Winner.
The Winner and his/her/their Guests must have the legal right to enter and leave the destination to which they are bound. They are fully responsible for obtaining, at their own expense, all documentation necessary for the trip as required by the authorities concerned, including, but not limited to, visas, passports, vaccinations and certificates. These documents shall be obtained before departure.
All travel documentation that may be required (visa, passports, etc.) are the Winner’s and his/her/their Guests’ responsibility and must be obtained prior to departure. Passports for all travellers must be valid for a minimum of 6 months from the date of departure.
It is strongly recommended that the Winner and his/her/their Guests purchase travel and/or medical insurance at time of reservation as a measure of added protection. Travel insurance may (but is not required) to be purchased through AIR MILES Travel Insurance at https://www.airmiles.ca/en/travel/travel-insurance.html
In connection with any visit to Universal Orlando Resort, please be advised that Universal’s policies, CDC guidelines, and the recommendations of health officials must be followed. In addition, guests should be aware of and comply with government guidelines regarding travel restrictions and mandatory quarantines before visiting any Universal destination. Please note that any public location where people are present provides an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19, and Universal cannot guarantee that any person will not be exposed during a visit.
All parts of the Prize are subject to availability and blackout dates, and subject to change without written notice or warning. Should an act of God, hurricane, war, fire, riot, earthquake, act of public enemies, actions of governmental authorities, epidemics, pandemics and the spread of infectious diseases, including without limitation COVID-19 (as defined by the World Health Organization and any of the strains, variants or mutations thereof), and any related governmental or judicial actions taken in connection with, or as a response to, any such event, or any other event beyond the reasonable control of a party, whether or not existing, known, foreseen or foreseeable at the time this promotion occurs, render the redemption or fulfilment of some or all of the Prize delayed, hindered, adversely affected, impracticable, or impossible, Prize Provider in its sole and absolute discretion, reserves the right to evaluate and make modifications to the redemption and fulfilment processes and timelines for any Prize or portion of the Prize that Prize Provider is responsible for, which may include but is not limited to providing additional time for redemption and/ or fulfilment. Should the Prize become unavailable, experiences and items of a similar nature and value may be offered.
The Winner and his/her/their Guests will be required to execute a liability/publicity release and waiver form in favour of Contest Sponsor and Prize Provider prior to booking of any travel. Failure to return the executed release form within the specified time period will result in forfeiture of the Prize. Winner acknowledges that he/she/they are solely responsible for any actions, claims or liabilities of the Group related to any use or misuse of the Prize or any Prize-related activity or travel.
Any damaged, lost or stolen airline tickets, theme park tickets, gift cards or travel vouchers will not be replaced and neither the Contest Sponsor nor the Prize Provider shall be liable for such damaged, lost or stolen items. Gift cards are not redeemable or exchangeable for cash (except as required by law) and are subject to all terms and conditions of use as established by issuer.
By accepting and agreeing to participate in the Prize, the Winner and each of his/her/their Guests release and discharge each of Contest Sponsor, Prize Provider, their parent, related, affiliated and subsidiary entities and their respective officers, directors, agents, employees and assigns from any and all legal claims, losses, injuries, demands, damages, actions, and/or causes of actions that arise out of and/or are in any way related to the Prize, the receipt, use and/or enjoyment of the Prize, Prize-related activity including travel, or the Contest. Upon being selected as a potential winner of the Prize, the selected entrant shall sign and return to the Contest Sponsor a Prize Acknowledgement and Release Form, as described further below in Rule 8.
Universal City Development Partners, Ltd. d/b/a Universal Orlando Resort ”) is a prize supplier only in this Contest, is not a sponsor of this Contest and is not responsible for the administration of the Contest, the collection of entries, or the selection of any winner. Any disputes, claims, and causes of action against Universal Orlando arising out of or relating to any person’s use of or participation in any prize provided by Universal Orlando shall be resolved by applying the laws of Florida, without regard to conflict of laws provisions therein, and shall be solely and exclusively brought in state or federal courts within Orange County, Florida. Such claims shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and all such claims shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event to include attorneys’ fees.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, the laws of the province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada shall govern these Official Contest Rules except where expressly provided otherwise above. Any disputes, claims and causes of action against the Contest Sponsor relating to any person’s participation in the Contest shall solely and exclusively be brought in the provincial or federal courts in Ontario. Such claims shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and all such claims shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event to include attorneys’ fees.
In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Contest promotional materials and the terms and conditions of these Official Contest Rules, these Official Contest Rules shall prevail and govern. - Winner Selection: A random drawing for the Prize will be held at 2:00 p.m. on November 12, 2024 , in Oakville, Ontario from among all eligible entries received during the Contest Period, by a judging organization whose decisions will be final and binding. In order to be declared a winner, selected entrant must be a Canadian resident AIR MILES® collector of 18 years of age or older and must first correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question to be administered at a prearranged time by the Contest Sponsor and otherwise comply with these Official Contest Rules. The Contest Sponsor or its representatives will make reasonable attempts to contact the selected entrant at the email address and/or telephone number(s) recorded in respect of his/her/their collector number and/or indicated on the Website entry, as the case may be. If a selected entrant cannot be contacted or has not responded within two (2) days of the date when contact was first attempted, is not eligible in accordance with these Official Contest Rules, does not correctly answer the mathematical skill-testing question or does not otherwise comply with these Official Contest Rules, then the selected entrant is disqualified and will not receive the Prize and another entrant may be selected. A selected entrant must sign and return to the Contest Sponsor within two (2) days of receipt a Prize Acknowledgement and Release Form in form satisfactory to Contest Sponsor, which includes a standard declaration of compliance with the Official Contest Rules and release form in form satisfactory to Contest Sponsor in order to be awarded the Prize. Failure to sign and return the Prize Acknowledgement and Release Form within two (2) days of receipt will result in forfeiture of the Prize. The Guests of the Prize Winner must also sign a release to participate in the Prize. The travel component of the Prize will be delivered to the Winner in accordance with Rule 7 after the random drawing.

The Contest Sponsor and Prize Provider each reserve the right to use the Winner’s name, city of residence, comments, likeness, photograph, voice and statements without further compensation, in connection with any advertising and publicity carried out by or on behalf of the Contest Sponsor and/or Prize Provider, as applicable, in relation to the Contest, the Prize, the AIR MILES Reward Program, or Universal Orlando in any media throughout the world in perpetuity. The first name or initials and city name of Winner may also be posted on airmiles.ca.
The Contest Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute the Prize with one of equal or greater value, to cancel, terminate, amend and/or suspend the Contest without prior notice at any time and for any reason including without limitation, if viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention, attempts to disrupt the Contest or other causes beyond the Contest Sponsor’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper play or conduct of the Contest. In no event will the Contest Sponsor be liable for more prizes (in quantity or amount) than that specified in the Official Contest Rules.
The Contest Sponsor is not responsible for any technical, hardware, software or telephone failures of any kind, or lost or unavailable network connections or garbled or deleted computer network transmissions, or failed, incomplete, garbled, misdirected or lost entries or inaccurate capture of entry or use of Miles information, even if it limits the ability to participate in the Contest. Any entry that occurs after a system failure is deemed a defective entry and is void and will not be honoured. The Contest Sponsor and Prize Provider are not responsible for any injury or damage to persons (including the Winner and his/her/their Guests) or property arising from the Contest or Prize, or which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from accessing or transmitting any material from the Website regardless of whether the material was prepared by the Contest Sponsor or a third party or is connected to the Website by hyperlink. All entries must be received during the Contest Period. All entries and prize claims are subject to verification by Contest Sponsor and will be void if not obtained through legitimate channels, or if not original, or if obtained other than in compliance with these Official Contest Rules. The Contest Sponsor will not accept screen shots or other evidence of winning or entry in lieu of its verification process. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt. All entries become the property of the Contest Sponsor and will not be returned.
Online and email entries must be made only by the original, manual keystrokes of the individual entrant. Use of any automated system including robotic or form-filling software to enter or participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification of all entries by anyone using such assistance.
The Contest Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of these Official Contest Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, the Contest Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. The Contest Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Contest Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
By entering this Contest, each entrant expressly consents to the Contest Sponsor, its agents and/or representatives storing, sharing and using the personal information submitted with his/her/their entry only for the purpose of administering the Contest and in accordance with these Official Contest Rules and the Contest Sponsor’s privacy policy (available at https://www.airmiles.ca/arrow/PrivacyPolicy). This section does not limit any other consent(s) that an individual may provide the Contest Sponsor or others in relation to the collection, use and/or disclosure of their personal information.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, by entering the Contest, the entrant selected as the Winner of the Prize is deemed to have expressly consented to the disclosure of their personal information to Prize Provider for the sole purpose of Prize Provider administering and coordinating distribution of the Prize in accordance with Universal Orlando Company’s Privacy Policy available at https://www.nbcuniversal.com/privacy
The Contest is subject to all applicable laws.
The name of the Winner may be obtained by sending a request with a self-addressed postage stamped envelope to “Dept. 100, AIR MILES® Bring on the fun Universal Contest, Winner List Request, Box 9500 Lakeshore West PO, Oakville, ON L6K 0G4”, until January 10, 2025. The first name or initials and City name of the Winner may also be posted on www.airmiles.ca.
