TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- BMO AIR MILES Mastercard applications must be received between October 1st, 2025, and December 31st, 2025 (the “Offer Period”). 1,600 AIR MILES Bonus Miles offer is limited to new accounts. Existing BMO AIR MILES Mastercard customers who cancel their card during the Offer Period, and existing BMO Mastercard customers who transfer into this product during the Offer Period are not eligible. To earn the 1,600 Bonus Miles, the following conditions must be met:
1) Spend $1,500 in net card purchases (less refunds and excluding cash advances, cash-like transactions, interest charges, fees, credit or debit adjustments) within the first 110 days after the account open date.
2) Keep the account open and in good standing for at least 110 days. Please allow up to 8 weeks after the conditions for each element of the offer are fulfilled for the Bonus Miles to be credited to your AIR MILES primary Credit Cardholder’s Collector Account provided the account is open and in good standing. All Bonus Miles will be credited in accordance with the set balance preference (between AIR MILES Cash and AIR MILES Dream balances) at the time of posting. The AIR MILES Bonus Miles Offer is subject to the AIR MILES Reward Program Terms and Conditions. Limit of one Bonus offer per Collector Account. If you cancel your card within 110 days of opening your account, the Bonus reward miles will be cancelled. This offer may be changed, extended or withdrawn at any time without notice. - BMO AIR MILES World Elite Mastercard applications must be received between October 1st, 2025, and December 31st, 2025 (the “Offer Period”) to be eligible for the AIR MILES Bonus Miles and Annual Fee Refund offers (each an “Offer” and collectively the “Offers”). Bonus Offers are limited to new accounts. Existing BMO AIR MILES World Elite Mastercard customers who cancel their card during the Offer Period, and existing BMO Mastercard customers who transfer into this product during the Offer Period are not eligible for the Offers.
AIR MILES Bonus Miles Offer: Up to 7,000 AIR MILES Bonus Miles (up to $730 in value with Cash Miles). Eligible approved applicants will receive:
i. A bonus of 3,000 Bonus Miles will be applied to the primary Credit Cardholder’s Collector Account 110 days after the credit card account open date after you spend a minimum of $4,500 (less refunds and excluding cash advances, cash-like transactions, interest charges, fees, credit or debit adjustments) within the first 110 days after the account open date.
ii. A further bonus of an additional 2,000 Bonus Miles will be applied to the primary Credit Cardholder’s Collector 180 days after the account open date when you spend a minimum of $10,000 (less refunds and excluding cash advances, cash-like transactions, interest charges, fees, credit or debit adjustments) within the first 180 days after the account open date.
iii. An additional bonus of 2,000 Bonus Miles will be applied the primary Credit Cardholder’s Collector 365 days after the account open date when you spend $20,000 (less refunds and excluding cash advances, cash-like transactions, interest charges, fees, credit or debit adjustments) within the first 365 days after the account open date.
iv. All Bonus Miles are credited in accordance with the set balance preference (between AIR MILES Cash and AIR MILES Dream balances) at the time of posting.
The AIR MILES Bonus Miles Offer is subject to the AIR MILES Reward Program Terms and Conditions. Limit of one AIR MILES Bonus Miles Welcome Offer per Collector Number. Please allow up to 8 weeks after the conditions for each element of the offer are fulfilled for the Bonus Miles to be credited to your AIR MILES primary Credit Cardholder’s Collector Account provided the account is open and in good standing. Limit of one AIR MILES Bonus Miles Offer per Collector Number. If the Credit Card is cancelled within 365 days from the date it was opened, all Miles earned within that period will be cancelled. The primary cardholder annual fee of $120 will be waived in the first year and will appear as a fee and a credit on the primary cardholders first statement. After the first year, the annual fee will appear on your Credit Card statement twelve (12) months after the Credit Card open date. The Annual Fee Waiver Offer does not apply to the Additional Card annual fee. These offers are subject to change or can be withdrawn without notice.
- BMO AIR MILES World Elite Mastercard and BMO AIR MILES Mastercard applications must be received between October 1, 2025 and December 31, 2025 (the “Offer Period”) to be eligible for the AIR MILES Bonus Miles (the “Offer”). BMO AIR MILES World Elite Mastercard Limited Time Offer: In addition to Bonus Miles earned in connection with the “Welcome Offer” described in paragraph 2 of these terms, new BMO AIR MILES World Elite Mastercard (“Credit Card”) customers who apply during the Offer Period can receive an additional 2,000 Bonus Miles when spending a combined minimum of $1000 at eligible wholesale clubs, grocery stores, and alcohol retailers on their new BMO AIR MILES World Elite Mastercard (less refunds and excluding cash advances, cash-like transactions, interest charges, fees, credit or debit adjustments) in net card purchases within the first 110 days from the Credit Card open date. Eligible grocery merchants are those that are classified by Mastercard’s “Merchant Category Code” as ““Grocery Stores and Supermarkets” (MCC 5411) in Canada; Eligible wholesale clubs are those that are classified by Mastercard’s “Merchant Category Code” as “Wholesale Clubs” in Canada (MCC 5300); eligible alcohol retailers are those that are classified by Mastercard’s “Merchant Category Code” as “Package Stores, Beer, Wine, and Liquor” (MCC 5921) in Canada. BMO (“Bank of Montreal”) cannot guarantee that any merchant, operating in whole or in part as a wholesale club, is classified by MCC 5300, or as a grocery store, is classified by MCC 5411, or as an alcohol retailer, is classified by MCC 5921, and in no event will BMO be liable or responsible for any claims with respect to a purchase at wholesale clubs, grocery stores, or alcohol retailers that are made at a merchant that is not classified by MCC 5300, 5411, or 5921 respectively. The Bonus Miles will be credited to the primary Credit Cardholder’s Collector Account within ninety (90) business days following the qualifying $1000 spend. All Bonus Miles are credited in accordance with the set balance preference (between AIR MILES Cash and AIR MILES Dream balances) at the time of posting. The AIR MILES Bonus Miles Offer is subject to the AIR MILES Reward Program Terms and Conditions. Limit of one AIR MILES Bonus Miles Offer per collector number. If the Credit Card is cancelled within 110 days from the date it was opened, all Miles earned within that period will be cancelled. Offer cannot be combined with 800 Bonus Miles Offer for new BMO AIR MILES Mastercard customers.
- BMO AIR MILES Mastercard Limited time Offer: In addition to Bonus Miles earned in connection with the “Welcome Offer” described in paragraph 3 of these terms, new BMO AIR MILES Mastercard (“Credit Card”) customers who apply during the Offer Period can receive an additional 900 Bonus Miles when spending a combined minimum of $450 at eligible wholesale clubs, grocery stores, and alcohol retailers on their new BMO AIR MILES Mastercard (less refunds and excluding cash advances, cash-like transactions, interest charges, fees, credit or debit adjustments) in net card purchases within the first 110 days from the Credit Card open date. Eligible grocery merchants are those that are classified by Mastercard’s “Merchant Category Code” as ““Grocery Stores and Supermarkets” (MCC 5411) in Canada; eligible wholesale clubs are those that are classified by Mastercard’s “Merchant Category Code” as “Wholesale Clubs” (MCC 5300) in Canada; eligible alcohol retailers are those that are classified by Mastercard’s “Merchant Category Code” as “Package Stores, Beer, Wine, and Liquor” (MCC 5921) in Canada. - Starting April 23, 2024, BMO AIR MILES Mastercard cardholders will earn 2 AIR MILES Reward Miles for every $25 in purchases made at eligible Wholesale Clubs in Canada classified by Mastercard’s “Merchant Category Code” as “Wholesale Clubs” (MCC 5300) and every $25 in purchases made at eligible Alcohol and Liquor merchants in Canada classified by Mastercard’s “Merchant Category Code” as “Package Stores, Beer, Wine, and Liquor” (MCC 5921). Wholesale Clubs and Alcohol and Liquor purchases at participating AIR MILES Partners will not be eligible for this offer; however, they will continue to earn the “3x the Miles” benefit. Multiplier Miles will be earned on eligible Wholesale club purchases at merchant locations in Canada up to a combined maximum of $500 in net purchases posted to your account per statement cycle period.
